Regular Season Round 10: MBCA - Stella Azzurra 77-95

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated DutchMBCA (7-1) against top-ranked Italian Stella Azzurra on Sunday night. Stella Azzurra were defeated by Italian Stella Azzurra (0-0) 95-77 . It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of MBCA. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Stella Azzurra forced 25 MBCA turnovers. 27 personal fouls committed by MBCA helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Divine Osamwenkha who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds. Riccardo DAmato contributed with 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Amit Orenstein replied with 18 points and Seth De Jong added 7 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for MBCA. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Despite that victory Stella Azzurra went down to first position due to points difference, which they share with 11 other teams. MBCA at the other side dropped to the 65th place with one game lost.
